Feeding Guidelines

Adult Dogs

Feed approximately 2–3% of your dog’s ideal body weight per day, split into two meals.

  • To gain weight: Gradually increase portions until your dog reaches a healthy weight.

  • To lose weight: Slowly reduce the daily amount.

  • Smaller breeds usually have faster metabolisms and may require slightly more food per pound.

  • Larger breeds may need slightly less per pound.

Always consider your dog’s activity level, age, and metabolism when determining portions.

Puppies **

Puppies need more energy to grow strong and healthy. Feed 5–6% of their current body weight per day, divided into 3–4 meals.

  • At 6 months, reduce to 2–3 meals/day.

  • As they approach maturity, transition to 2–3% of their expected adult weight daily.

🐾 Puppies grow fast — monitor weight and adjust portions as needed

Cats ***

Feed your cat 2–4% of their ideal body weight daily, split into two or more meals.

  • Active/outdoor cats may need more.

  • Indoor/sedentary cats may need less.

Cats thrive on high-protein diets. Watch their body condition and adjust feeding as necessary.

1. Serve As-Is (Most Convenient)

  • Simply thaw and portion into your pet’s bowl.

2. Microwave Heating

  • Place thawed food in a microwave-safe dish.

  • Microwave on low power for 15–30 seconds at a time.

  • Stir and check the temperature — it should be lukewarm, not hot.

  • Avoid overheating or "hot spots" that can burn your pet’s mouth.
